Rachel has worked in the hospitality industry all her life and understands the importance of providing professional and reliable service. She has owned and operated her own floral design company in Grass Valley since 1992. Art in Bloom Flowers provides eloquent arrangements for wedding flowers in Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Lake Tahoe as well as other venues in Northern CA. Rachel spent five years as the manager of the Highlands Inn Floral Department in Carmel, CA and has created the flowers for over 2,000 weddings. She has traveled to the Netherlands to study at the European Floral Design Academy with several renowned European and Dutch masters and also studied with floral educators from the San Francisco City College and the College of San Mateo.
Free from the distractions of running a retail storefront, Rachel creates her art and floral designs for special events in her private design studio. She is able to fully concentrate solely on your affair. Consultations are by appointment only. Rachel is proud and passionate about her floral designs, and loves her work. She treats every client as a unique individual and is sensitive to their needs and budgetary resources.
